Sports Field sheds, ball stoppers, floodlights
With the popularity of sports and the availability of sports grants in recent years we have supplied and erected floodlights, ball stoppers, barriers around pitches and viewing stands for many GAA clubs.
Floodlight poles erected by Hickey Engineering can be seen at Ballinamere GAA Pitch just outside Tullamore, Walshe Island GAA pitch, Crinkle GAA and Clara GAA pitch.
We have also fitted Ball stoppers at Belmont GAA near Ferbane Co. Offaly and Clara GAA.
A viewing stand is now expected at Sports pitches and are typically a lean-to type shed with a turn down canopy giving an advantage view of pitch and a weather protected area for spectators. We also fit barriers around edge of pitch in steel piping.
